Public Transportation From New York City
Take the “F” NYC subway train to the 169th Street subway station. This is the second to last subway stop in Queens on the “F” line. Exit the train station and transfer to the “N6” bus, going east. There is a free transfer from the subway to the N6 bus, if you use a Metro Card. Take the N6 bus for approximately 30 minutes, and exit at Madison Avenue. Madison Avenue will be the first bus stop after the major intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and New Hyde Park Road. We are located almost directly across Hempstead Turnpike from the Madison Avenue bus stop.
From Eastern Long Island
Driving Directions
1.Take the Southern State Parkway west to Exit 16N (Franklin Avenue/Franklin Square). After the exit ramp, make a right turn onto Franklin Avenue. Take Franklin Avenue for approximately 5 to 10 minutes, and then make a right turn onto Hempstead Turnpike (the first major intersection). We are located between the second and third traffic lights after you turn onto Hempstead Turnpike, on the left side of the Turnpike.
2.Take the Northern State Parkway west to Exit 26 South (New Hyde Park Road). Take New Hyde Park Road south for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. You will pass Union Turnpike, Marcus Avenue, Hillside Avenue, Jericho Turnpike, Stewart Avenue and two Long Island Railroad crossings. Make a left onto Hempstead Turnpike (you will see a large US1 Auto Parts store on the corner). We are located between the second and third traffic lights after you turn onto Hempstead Turnpike, on the left side of the Turnpike.
3.Take the Long Island Expressway west to Exit 34 (New Hyde Park Road). Take the service road to the first traffic light and make a left onto New Hyde Park Road. Then follow the directions as per Alternative Number Two, above.
Public Transportation
Take the N6 bus from the Hempstead bus terminal going west, for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Exit at the Madison Avenue bus stop, which is one stop before the major intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and New Hyde Park Road.
